What Would This Heart Do?

Some Forgotten Tale, Some Past Era...
An Old Companion Gave An Excuse...
If She Finds A Place In My Heart...
What Would This Heart Do?

Some Magic Is Cast, Which Is Driving Us Crazy...
I Recall Something I Forget Something...
What Should We Do And What We Shouldn't?
What Would This Heart Do?

I Couldn't Stay This Side, Nor Go On That Side...
I Couldn't Keep Quite, Nor Could Say What I Wanted...
This Crazy Atmosphere, This Lovely Climate,
What Would This Heart Do?

Logistics and Organization

After having failed his exam in "Logistics and Organization", a student goes and confronts his lecturer about it.

Student: "Sir, do you really understand anything about the subject?"

Professor: "Surely I must. Otherwise I would not be a professor!"

Student: "Great, well then I would like to ask you a question.

If you can give me the correct answer, I will accept my mark as is and go. If you however do not know the answer, I want you give me an "A" for the exam. "

Professor: "Okay, it's a deal. So what is the question?"

Student: "What is legal, but not logical, logical, but not legal, and neither logical, nor legal?"

Even after some long and hard consideration, the professor cannot give the student an answer, and therefore changes his exam mark into an "A", as agreed.

Afterwards, the professor calls on his best student and asks him the same question.

He immediately answers: "Sir, you are 63 years old and married to a 35 year old woman, which is legal, but not logical. Your wife has a 25 year old lover, which is logical, but not legal. The fact that you have given your wife's lover an "A", although he really should have failed, is neither legal, nor logical."

Infatuation VS Love

Infatuation is the initial, instant attraction and intense desire for a person of the opposite sex.

Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It takes root, develops and grows one day at a time. The process is slow.

Infatuation lacks confidence. When he/she is away you wonder if he/she is cheating you. Sometimes you check perhaps even discreetly.

Love means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened. Your beloved feels the same also and this makes both even more trustworthy.

Infatuation is marked by a feeling of insecurity. You are excited and eager, but not genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions or some unclear actions about your beloved that you would not like to examine too closely. It might spoil the dream.

Love is quiet understanding and mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real. It gives you strength and grows beyond you to bolster your beloved. You are warmed by his/her presence even when he/she is away. Miles of distance do not separate you. You want him/her nearer, but near or far, you know he/she is yours and you can wait.

Infatuation has an element of sexual excitement. If you are honest, you can admit it is difficult to be in one another's company, for the underlying fear that it will end in intimacy.

Love is the maturation of friendship. You are confident that you must be friends before you can be lovers.

Infatuation is usually temporary and eventually fades. It, however, might lead you to do things you will regret later, but love never will.

Love is an upper. It makes you look up. Love usually lasts longer and goes deeper than strong sexual Feelings. It makes you think up and makes you a better person.

Infatuation makes you feel anxious, nervous and jealous. You feel convinced that you can't live without the other person. You are unable to see the person for who they really are because he/she is perfect in your eyes.

Love makes you feel excited. You are willing to respect the other person's opinions and accept the good or bad qualities. You share similar values and beliefs and you see the person for who they really are.

Infatuation says, "We must get married right away! I can't risk losing you!"

Love says, "Be patient. Do not panic. Plan your future with confidence. There are rewards in waiting."

So many ways to enjoy the beautiful life.....

So many ways to enjoy the beautiful life
But why are you not feeling it?
Anybody can be yours...
But why you are not let them come into your life?

Why there is no desire in your heart?
The World is not so shady for you…
Light is brighten all around the world
Why none is with you?

What the sore you have, what will not be healed?
What was in past, that you haven’t today?
Each an every heart-ache can be healed…
Only you sheltered your broken heart From Everyone.

If you find, you will get someone
Waiting for you on the path of your life…
As it is the question of thirst, we are to close to occean,
Occean will not move toward to us.

What is Life?

  • It's a journey through a way, Through which we must go away and away…
  • It's a very tough game,Performance is what brings us the name…
  • It's today full of sorrow, Face this eye to eye Joy will come tomorrow…
  • It's a puzzling riddle, Go on solving it Don't stop in the middle…
  • It's a tearful road for miles, Still walk with faith and honor You'll reach the land of smiles…
  • It's stormy and cold tonight, But across this awaits A morning warm and bright…
  • It's a fairy tale about, A seed of baby now In the future to sprout…
  • It's a bag of dreams, Of vanilla skies And chocolate streams…
  • It's a chance to love, So spread your arms The world is yours, just love…

Plan Your Life Wisely..

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer- contractor of his plans to leave the house- building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work the employer came to inspect the house. He handed the front-door key to the carpenter.

This is your house, he said, my gift to you.

The carpenter was shocked! What a shame!

If he had only known he was building his own, he would have done it all so differently.

We do the most of the things having such thoughts in our mind. But we only realize when it comes back to us.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock we realize we have to live in the house that we have built. If we could do it over, we'd do it much differently. But we cannot go back.

You are the carpenter. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Life is a do-it-yourself project, someone has said. Your attitudes and the choices you make today, build the house you live in tomorrow. Build wisely!

KNOW UR Value!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200,

He asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"

Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this."
He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?"
And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money.

You still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless..

But no matter what has happened or what will happen.

10 tips for good night's sleep..

Stick to a schedule.
Erratic bedtimes do not allow for your body to align to the proper circadian rhythms. Mum was right when she set a time we always had to go to sleep as kids. Also, make sure you try to keep the same schedule on weekends too, otherwise the next morning, you'd wake later and feel overly tired.

Sleep only at night.
Avoid daytime sleep if possible. Daytime naps steal hours from nighttime slumber. Limit daytime sleep to 20-minute, power naps.

Exercise.
It's actually known to help you sleep better. Your body uses the sleep period to recover muscles and joints that have been exercised. Twenty to thirty minutes of exercise every day can help you sleep, but be sure to exercise in the morning or afternoon. Exercise stimulates the body and aerobic activity before bedtime may make falling asleep more difficult.

Taking a hot shower or bath
before bed helps bring on sleep because they can relax tense muscles.

Avoid eating just before bed.
Avoid eat large meals or spicy foods before bedtime. Give yourself at least 2 hours from when you eat to when you sleep. This allows for digestion to happen (or at least start) well before you go to sleep so your body can rest well during the night, rather than churning away your food.

Avoid caffeine.
It keeps you awake and that's now what you want for a good nights sleep. We all know that.

Read a fiction book.
It takes you to a whole new world if you really get into it. And then take some time to ponder over the book as you fall asleep. I find as I read more and more, regardless of the book, I get more tired at night and so find it easier to fall asleep. Different for others?

Have the room slightly cooler.
I prefer this to a hot room. I prefer to turn off the heat and allow the coolness to circulate in and out of the windows. If I get cold, I wear warmer clothes. It also saves on the bills as you're not going to require the heat all night long.

Sleep in silence.
I find sleeping with no music or TV on more easy and restful. I guess others are different, but sleep with no distractions is best for a clearer mind.

Avoid alcohol before bedtime.
It's a depressant; although it may make it easier to fall asleep, it causes you to wake up during the night. As alcohol is digested your body goes into withdrawal from the alcohol, causing nighttime awakenings and often nightmares for some people.

Good Morning...

We never get what we want,
we never want what we get,
we never have what we like,
we never like what we have,
and still we Live & Love.

Believe In Yourself..

There may be days when you get up in the morning
And things aren't the way you had hoped they would be,
that's when you have to tell yourself
That things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,
But those are the times when you must remind yourself
To trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your
Life focused on believing in yourself
And all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and
Changes to make in your life,
And it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you.

It may not be easy at times,
But in those times of struggle
You will find a stronger sense of who you are,
So when the days come that are filled with
Frustration and unexpected responsibilities,
Remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be,
Because the challenges and changes will only help you to
Find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep believing in yourself.

Crying in the Rain.

I’ll never let you see
The way my broken heart is hurting me
I’ve got my crying and I know how to hide
All my sorrows and pain
I’ll do my crying in the rain

If I wait for stormy skies
You won’t know the rain from the tears in my eyes
You’ll never know that I still love you so
Only in heart'll remain
I’ll do my crying in the rain

Raindrops falling from heaven
Could never wash away my memories
Since we’re not together
I pray for stormy weather
To hide these tears I hope you’ll never see

Someday when my crying is done
I’m gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun
I may be a fool but till then, darling, you'll never see me complain
I’ll do my crying in the rain

I’ll do my crying in the rain...

What is actual wealth..........?

Written By ROBIN SHARMA:--

In my mind, wealth isn't just about making money. There are actually seven elements that you want to raise to world-class levels before you call yourself rich. They are, inner wealth, physical health, family and social wealth, career wealth, economic wealth and adventure wealth.
I just gave a full-day leadership seminar attended by managers and executives of companies like American Express, Infosys, The Gap and Dell. One of the ideas that many of the people in the room told me was most helpful was my "Seven Forms of Wealth" model that I've been sharing with our corporate clients over the past year.

In my mind, wealth isn't just about making money. There are actually seven elements that you want to raise to world-class levels before you call yourself rich. I'll identify them:
Inner wealth: This includes a positive mindset, high self respect, internal peace and a strong spiritual connection.
Physical wealth: Your health is your wealth. What's the point of getting to a great place in your career if you get sick doing it? Why be the best businessperson in the hospital ward? Why be the richest person in the graveyard?
Family and social wealth: When your family life is happy, you will perform better at work. No one gets to the end of their life and regrets making their family their first priority. Related to this is the imperative of forging deep connections with friends and members of your personal community (including mentors, role models and trusted advisors).
Career wealth: Actualising your highest potential by reaching for your best in your career is incredibly important. Getting to greatness in your profession brings a feeling of satisfaction on a job well done. It helps you make your mark. Being world class in your work is so good for your self-respect.
Economic wealth: Yes, money is important. Not the most important thing in life but very important. It absolutely makes life easier and better. Money allows you to live in a nice home, take beautiful vacations and provide well for those you love. And as Yvon Chouinard, the founder of the outdoor gear company Patagonia, has said: "The more I make, the more I can give away."
Adventure wealth: To be fulfilled, each of us needs mystery in our lives. Challenge is necessary for happiness. The human brain craves novelty. And we are creative beings so we need to be creating constantly if we hope to feel joy. Lots of adventure (ranging from meeting new people to visiting new places) is an essential element of authentic wealth.

~~True Yoga~~A Genuine Devotee~~

God is the embodiment of love and the ocean of compassion. But you are unable to receive God's love and compasssion because you have filled your mind with worldly feelings. If you want to receive something sacred, give up all that is unsacred. If the head is empty, it can be filled with anything. But if the head is already stuffed with worldly desires, how is it possible to fill it with sacred feelings? First and foremost, empty your head of all worldly feelings. Only then can it be filled with divine love. For this, you have to cultivate Thyaga (sacrifice). That is true Yoga.
He who is ever ready to sacrifice his comfort for helping another, is a genuine devotee..

Pushkar – The Ultimate Pilgrimage

Pushkar is known as teerthraj or king of all pilgrimages. It is situated in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. Pushkar has the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma.

According to Padma Purana, Lord Brahma, the creator amongst the Hindu trinity, decided to make an offering of a fire sacrifice (Yagya) after completing the creation of the universe.

In order to make this sacrificial offering, Lord Brahma wanted to identify a suitable place. He tossed a lotus bloom and the flower landed where we now find the Pushkar Lake. So, Pushkar was chosen for performing this sacred ritual.

Though most people know of only one Pushkar, there are in fact three Pushkars. All of them are in Ajmer. It is believed that while the lotus bloom itself landed in the Pushkar Lake, the two leaves that came with the stem of the lotus fell at two other lakes. One of them is called Bhuda Pushkar and the other one is called Madhya Pushkar. Villagers who live around Bhuda Pushkar and Madhya Pushkar believe that those are the real Pushkars.

When all the preparations for his great yagya were complete, Brahma’s consort Savitri failed to join him. In order to complete the ritual, he married a local gujjar girl called Gayatri and proceeded with the yagya. When Savitri arrived, she was furious to see Gayatri beside Lord Brahma.

Since Lord Brahma did not wait for Savitri for this great sacrificial offering, she felt bad and she told Lord Brahma that Pushkar is the only place where he would be worshipped in this world. That explains why we have only one Brahma temple whereas there are thousands and thousands of temples of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.

It is believed that Lord Brahma pooled water from Badrinath, Jagnnath, Rameshwaram and Dwarka to create Pushkar Lake. That is why Pushkar lake is called the teerthraj.

Since Pushkar is the place where the first sacrificial offering was made by Lord Brahma and since the water in Pushkar Lake represents combination water from four important pilgrimages for the Hindus, it is considered to be as holy as the water from river ganges. It follows, therefore, that if you take a holy dip at teerthraj Pushkar Lake, you automatically become eligible for gathering the boons for visiting the other four pilgrimages.

Maturity

Maturity is the ability to control anger and settle differences without violence or destruction.

Maturity is patience, the willingness to pass up immediate pleasure in favor of the long-term gain.

Maturity is perseverance, the ability to sweat out a project or a situation in spite of opposition and discouraging setbacks.

Maturity is unselfishness -responding to the needs of others, often at the expense on one's own desires and wishes.

Maturity is the capacity to face unpleasantness and frustration, discomfort and defeat, without complaint or collapse.

Maturity is humility. It is being big enough to say "I was wrong." And, when right, the mature person need not say, "I told you so."

Maturity is the ability to make a decision and stand by it. The immature spend their lives exploring endless possibilities, then doing nothing.

Maturity means dependability, keeping one's word, coming through in the crisis. The immature are masters of the alibi -confused and disorganized.Their lives are a maze of broken promises, former friends, unfinished business and good intentions which never materialize.

Maturity is the art of living in peace with that which we cannot change!

Tanha Bana Diya

Quote / Thought for the Day - 1 ( 14-11-2008 )

Cultivate a sweet temper and sweet speech, which is its natural consequence. Speak without anger or spite, without any artificiality or formality, straight from the heart. Then, you will spread joy and love among all. If you cannot afford expensive clothes or the various frills of finery that you crave, do not get angry or wild. Be bold enough to resist the temptation of yielding to the pressure of the crowd. Remember that nourishing the good qualities and character is as important as nourishing the body.

Quote / Thought for the Day - 1 ( 13-11-2008 )

“If you see everyone as your brother, it becomes easy to remain loveful.”

“The world looks brighter from behind a smile.”

Tumhara Naam Likh Likh Ker..

Tumhara Naam Likh Likh Ker
Tumhara Naam likh likh ker Mitana bhool jata hoon
Tumhein jab Yaad karta hoon, Bhulana bhool jata hoon

Boht si aisi Baatein hain jo Mere Dil mai rehti hain
Magar jab Tum se milta hoon, Sunana bhool jata hoon

Tumhare baad ab her Pal bari Mushkil se Kat-ta hai
Mai aksar Tum ko Khuwabon mai, Batana bhool jata hoon

Mai her Shaam kehta hoon Tum ko bhool jaoonga
Magar jab Subah hoti hai, Iraada bhool jata hoon..

SMILE!!!

A smile costs nothing but gives much.It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

Two thoughts that change our attitude...

What do I think of myself, when I don't have anything and what do I think of others when I have everything.

During rainy days,we often sit and look through our windows gazing at the beautiful scenery unfolding before us.But we have never looked away from the scene to focus on the little rain drops falling on the window itself..we will notice through the glass that the little droplets slowly coming down will not always follow a straight path--on their way down, they will deviate towards other little droplets ,merging in them, gaining momentum and happily rushing down..This little miracle is one of the many examples we have before us that point to the fact that every thing in this world has a natural attraction towards their own kind ,which brings us to the questions;whose kind are we and who are we ?The truth is that we are our soul..a soul that is part and parcel of none other than GOD HIMSELF.we will find happiness rest only when we merge back to our source the lord, the missing link in our lives....

“Remember that you are very special. NO ONE can play your role better than you.”

“There is no future in any job. The future lies in the man who holds the job.”

Success...

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems a far.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.

Hamko mila ye kya sila..

Hamko mila ye kya sila
bhulyaa jinke liye sabko
Unhone hee hamko kyon bhula diya

Dard hai dil main
Ankho main anshoo mere
Din ke ujale main
ab bhee sapne dekhoon tere

Na hai ab koi manjil
Mile na kohi raste
Lagta hai jese ye jindgi
Mili hame Gum ke waste

Bhula esa kyon diya
Jee na paaye chahkar bhee
Hum to tumko bhula na paayenge
shayad ab to markar bhee..
