Difference between somebody you love and somebody you like

Difference between

" Somebody you Love"
&
"Somebody you Like"

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster.
But in front of the person you like, you get happy.

In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring.
But in front of the person you like, winter is just beautiful winter.

If you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush.
But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile.

In front of the person you love, you can't say everything on your mind.
But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy.
But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self.

You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love.
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them.
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye.
But the feeling of like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like, all you need to do is cover your ears.

But
If you try to close your eyes, love turns into a drop of tear and remains
in your heart forever.

Kinti Mushkil Se Kati...

Kinti Mushkil Se Kati Kal Ki Meri Raat Na Poocho
Dil Se Nikli Hui Honton Me Dabi Baat Na Poocho
Woh Kis Aada Se Mere Saamne Se Guzra Abhi
Kis Tarah Maine Sambhale Mere Jazbaat Na Poocho
Waqat Jo Badle To Insaan Badal Jaate Hai
Kya Nahi Dikhlaate Yeh Gardish-E-Haalat Na Poocho
Woh Kisi Ka Ho Bhi Gaya Or Mujh Ko Kabar Na Huyi
Kis Tarah Us Ne Churraya Hai Mujh Se Haath Na Poocho
Is Tarah Pal Mein Mujhe Begaana Kar Diya Usne
Kis Tarah Apno Se Khaayi Hai Maine Maat Na Poocho
Ab Tere Pyaar Nahi Hai To Sanam Kuch Bhi Nahi
Kitni Mushkil Se Bani Thi Dil Ki Kainaat Na Poocho

Tonic for the Mind - 22

An alert mind is developed only by quietening the mind. For this to happen, the mind must not wander into the past or into the future unnecessarily, such a mind would have either pre-occupations of the past, worries, regrets or it would be too anxious for the future. Then that mind is not aware of the present, which is always there...it is not alert to it. Alertness is a spiritual and a leadership quality which must be developed. ''Alertness is the price one pays for perfect living".

- Swami Mitrananda

Quote / Thought for the Day...

"If we get involved in fears about the future, we shall miss the chances that the present offers us."

"It is essential to know that to be a happy person, a happy family, a happy society, it is very crucial to have a good heart, that is very crucial. World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace is not just the absence of violence but the manifestation of human compassion."

Tonic for the Mind - 21

If we drink a cup of coffee and find it bitter, we add sugar to it. But if we do not stir it, the sugar will not fully dissolve and the coffee will remain bitter. In the same way, our personality has become a concoction over the years. If it is still bitter, even after adding the sweetness of knowledge, it means the knowledge has not been absorbed. And with each contact with the world, this bitterness in us automatically reveals. As long as our knowledge remains separate from our nature, it cannot be called true knowledge.

- Swami Tejomayananda
